Shown at DefExpo India 2014 Polaris debuts a new unmanned 6x6 UTV for military purposes. Supposedly its also capable of civilian uses as well..

Imagine this technology on the Brutus, send it out to plow the snow from the comfy confines of your living room...

So its basically a drone for the ground instead of a drone for the sky. Sounds exciting. I bet driving it would be a lot like playing a video game.

This could also be good technology for a golf course. You could send people a golf cart on the course without actually driving it to them. I think there is probably a lot of uses for this vehicle. Nothing that I personally would use it for, but it is a pretty cool step forward with vehicle technology.

War should just be a game of battleship online

and just call it a day

money saved lives saved.

why send out robots to kill each other? its a digital war right?

lets just kill each other in a game :)

This seems like it will inevitably become a consumer thing. Taxis could be remotely driven is one idea that I have. With Amazon using drones to deliver, soon all our vehicles will be autonomous or remotely driven. The future is coming.

It is indeed just a matter of time. with cars talking to eachother and self driving cars, it will be even easier to have "taxis" implemented into it all .

And then eventually we'll have robots serving us at restaurants and in stores, at least the robots working at wal-mart will be of better service :D
