Just registered for the Brutus forum to learn more about the machine. I just bought a new 2015 Brutus with front mower and v-plow. The dealer has to add the new joystick and control package to allow the Brutus and the v-plow to function with both independent wings. I have a small hobby farm in Wisconsin, so have added the Brutus for mostly work. I won't get the unit delivered until later this month since the v-plows are not in yet.

Has anyone had experience with a Radio in the Brutus. Being a diesel, I was wondering if the engine noise would overpower the radio. I have a CaseIH tractor with cab, and the cab is so quiet that the radio is great in it. But, I have my doubts with the Brutus. I did not put one in, but I would if it was functional.

Look forward to looking through the forum discussions and viewpoints.

Skip the radio, get shooting muffs with bluetooth built in

I'd like to hear how the v-plow works out for you. I have the standard plow, and have been thinking of fabricating wings to make it a little more versatile.

Brutus is pretty freaking loud, you'd really have to crank that radio. The cab is really insulated from the engine noise, and it just gets louder if you do the snow clogging fix.
I like the v-plow a lot. It works great in deep drifts on my 1/2 mile drive to have the plow in the v-mode and slice through the drifts. Then I go back and widen the drive with the plow set in more normal mode. I, also, use the plow in reverse v-plow mode to clean rows of snow around the doors of my sheds and garage. I am glad I spent the extra money for the v-plow.
