Hello! I just wanted to say that I am very impressed with my first use of my Brutus HD! I mowed about 6 acres that has been mowed all summer and about 2 acres of grass that hasn't been cut since May. The brutus cut the 6 acres perfectly and comfortable, what a terrific job! Now, the 2 acres was really high, in some areas over a foot tall, it was slow going, but it did the job. Very impressed for my first use, can't wait till I get to cut again. Hook up was easy, only thing I was a little worried about was getting the tilt perfectly level, I fussed with it a little and we were good to go, cut in the float position with the deck all the way up, at 1930 RPM on the PTO and ran the machine in low and took my time, the enclosed cab with air is a beautiful thing! Along with the radio, it was a great experience. The only complaint, cab was a little noisy and I am thinking about wrapping the under seat storage bins with a heat deflector material that I put on my old cars floor before carpet, it helps with sound and heat. Overall, great machine.

Make sure you keep the grass cleaned out of the bearings where the PTO sticks out of the unit, it cost me $200 for the bearings that the grass took the seal out of.
A photo of the grass is attached. By the way the grass took under 10 min. to build up on the PTO shaft.
