Has anyone been successful at finding the drain plug and changing the gear oil in their lawn mower attachment? Per the parts list, it looks like there is a drain plug at the bottom of the box but if it is there is, it's not accessible (pulley is there). Page 35 in the owners manual shows the fill plug, page 30 in the manual says to drain the fluid at 50 hours, but nothing about how to actually drain it.

Thanks!

Hi Dan,
Open the Polaris cover, loosen the belt tensioner, remove the power shaft, loosen fill plug, remove the bolts to the gear box, remove the gear box, turn gear box fill to bottom of box, drain, rinse and drain again, turn gear box fill plug into up position, fill with gear lube about half way, turn gear box so fill plug is at side as mounted, let excess lube drain, reinstall fill plug, reverse steps to reassemble.
Enjoy,
