I love the mower attachment, I mow around 15-20 acres of old farm fields and my very tiny lawn. I can drive the 10 miles from my place to the farm on ATV trails, mow all day, then drive home. The air conditioning while mowing is great, you have cup holders and a place for your lunch box, and our black lab loves riding with me.
I have the Bobcat 3650 and the ride is very good on the rough fields.
I would buy the mower for your Brutus. My wife and I like only having one thing to take care of, we bought the mower, snowblower and the bucket. We put around 1200 miles on it last year on the trails.
I had some trouble mowing last year before I had the control lever fix, I was having a hard time mowing up hills, but going down hill was no problem, even with tall grass. Others have said the same thing, but after the lever fix, they had no problems mowing. Mine was fixed in the late fall so I havnt mowed with it since than, but I have been snowblowing with it and snowblowing normally takes a lot of power. I have had no power issues snow blowing.
My ride home after the fix took me up a very steep hill that I used to struggle up at about 3mph, after the fix it did 10 mph without struggling. I think it will mow just fine this summer.
I have some photos of the mower on the farm in the photo gallery up in the top menu bar.

Thank you for the info! I think I will go that route. The exmark mower i was looking at is double the price of the polairs mower attachment. The dealership I bought my brutus from has some demo mowers for $3100 (freight included).

re mower deck feedback

I bought the mower attachment for mine. I have just over 2 flat acres. The mower deck is great. However I've found it to be too big for my 2 acres. For wide open areas it would be awesome. For getting around trees or close to things its easier to use my lawn tractor. See if someone will let you demo one on your new yard before you buy. I'm probably going to end up selling mine. I'm in CT if you're in this neck of the woods. You're welcome to come try mine around my yard to see if you want one.

Thank you for the offer! I wish i was closer, I'm about 25 miles north of Detroit. For the most part i will be mowing open area. Most of the trees and landscaping are around the house and 2nd garage.

Do you still have the mower attachment and want to sell?
