How to get the factory filler out depends on what year yours is and which engine it has.

Generally the "casting core plug" is threaded in, and has an "inverted hex" socket in the top which can take a jumbo hex wrench or hex driver.

Looks like the non-threaded kind of frost plug, that takes a non-threaded heater insert.

A 2013 with then Yanmar engine should have a threaded plug for a block heater, here's mine:

GTS did you figure out a solution? My Yanmar Brutus also has the non-threaded frost plug. I'm thinking I'll probably just get a magnetic block heater. Also, how is the Brutus on tracks? I would imagine it is VERY slow.
