Hi
I've a 2015 Brutus with a replaced engine (recall). On both the old and new engine the engine would stumble occasionally and gradually get worse until it would stall and I'd have to restart it. On the old engine I replaced the fuel filter/water separator and it ran great for months (almost a year) and it would start stumbling again and I'd replace the filter again. With the new engine it was stumbling and I replaced the filter - but this time it continues to stumble with the new filter - not as bad still a problem. Anyone have suggestions for smoothing out the engine - something has to be disruption the fuel flow.

Thanks

I would also pull the air filter, a clogged one has similar symptoms.
Good point -- also check the prefilter (driver's side B-pillar), until I did the intake relocation mod, I had trouble with this getting clogged by pollen, snow.

Replacement water separator with easy drain?

One last thought, drain the water before every use at water seperater. Noticed you didn't mention that, that also has the same effect.
Anybody swap out the factory water separator for one with a more accessible stopcock, built-in drain hose?
