My Brutus is finally all tricked out, super special cab, big [email protected]$ mower daeck... I have purchased a DR Verso Trailer to help complete the work on my property... one problem... The pig tail on the trailer is only able to reach the ball. The wiring harness that is designed to attach to the posts set up under the hood of the Brutus and connect to the pig tail is about two and a half feet short. I REALLY would rather no splice the power cables. Is there anybody out there on the forum who has a Versa Trailer w/ the power cable hoist, and resolved this issue?

Is this wiring harness something supplied by DR specific to the Brutus and the DR Versa-Trailer?

I've seen a few mentions of adding a 7-way pinout trailer connector at the rear of the Brutus, providing battery power for accessories with a fast connect.

Skip the posts under the hood entirely.

 Did you ever resolve this?

Why not just hook up with an inline fuse connector directly under the passenger seat? That should easily save you the necessary 30 inches of wiring length.
