I have a new 2016 Brutus with only 10 hours. Ran it Saturday night for about an hour + without issue. Idled down and disengaged PTO so I could get out to shovel steps. About 1 min later all the lights went out, none of the joystick controls worked, the PTO lever inoperable. The blower for the heater still worked.
The dealer installed the optional 30" LED light bar as well as the 12" light bar for the rear. I found the 30amp Chassis fuse was burnt and replaced it, still no power! Called the dealer and got back to me and said the in-line fusable link may have burnt out. I couldn't follow that wire off the battery because it went into a wrap with other wires. Has to order the part so I won't hear back until Thursday or Friday. They are over 60 minutes away, so I'm trying to work with him so he doesn't waste a trip. It appears the Brutus isn't something that this dealer commonly works on. :( So is there anyone out there who knows more about the Brutus than the dealer?

Great info, thanks Kevin! I was able to find the Diagnostic codes I gave the dealer. Turns out the components (Rear Differential Output & All Wheel Drive Control Circuit) both show condition "Driver Circuit Grounded" and in the manual for the AWD there is a side note that says to "check wires for bad/failed connections and grounds".

My dealer came out. Checked the fusable links and they were still good. Found 2 relays in the fuse box were swollen and bad. Replaced them and it works. He's taking it back to the shop to trouble shoot and find out why this happened. He did say that I am the only customer that has both the front and rear light bars. So maybe running both of them is drawing too much? I'll post his findings.

which 2 relays went bad? How much does each light bar draw?

Interesting -- which 2 relays went bad? How much does each light bar draw?

I would add a resettable/PTC fuse to each lightbar connection, at a minimum

did a the dealer ever find out what caused the relays to go bad? we have a 2017 brutus here and it keeps eating chassis relays. the wires seem good every where but at the fuse box where the relays melt. thank you
