2014 Brutus diesel

Does the Ranger and Brutus use the same diesel engine?

I don't have the machine in the shop right now but will get it here soon. Just doing some research beforehand.

Definitely measure it -- there are at least two different diameters depending on the exact engine in the Brutus in question.

My Yanmar engine had a threaded plug near the top of the engine block, so the block heater kit didn't come with all those extra parts.

Gents - the Brutus with the Yanmar engine does not fit the part that is linked to above. I just added a block heater and I need to use this adapter to fit the Yanmar - [Engine Coolant Block Heater Adapter for John Deere 1023E,2027R,2032R MIA881629 | eBay ] and this block heater [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002UNASYS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ] Its a 1 inch hole in the adapter so you can probably use a different heater too - but you need that adapter. Mike
