I just picked up an angle broom (thanks to jackjrp) and the Polaris manual for it is less informative than my Bobcat manual for the snowblower. Anyone know if the shear bolt in the broom is the same as those in the blower? Also, the manual is very descriptive in the gear oil it takes.... (inject sarcasm) Anyone know the specs on the "Polaris Angle Broom Oil" 2879747? Even the picture of the bottle I found on ebay doesn't say. Or any idea what the Bobcat equivalent part number is or point me to the Bobcat broom owner's manual? At least the Bobcat snowblower has the gear oil spec'd as 80W90.

Thanks.

How do you like the broom? Any indication on how long the bristles will last? Also, are they replaceable and are there options for bristle type?
I will be using it to do a road that is about 1.5 miles long. Want to ensure the bristles can hold up.

Thanks
Mike
