I just broke my shift cable from this problem (and that caused me to buy a paper copy of the Bobcat service manual on ebay since it was an expensive trip to the dealer service department). My problem is parking it on slopes, as I have many on my property. It rests against the gear in the hydro and I have to rock the entire machine in order to get it out of gear. On flat places I don't have the problem. I would love to figure out a way to add an emergency brake so it isn't the transmission holding it in place. Any suggestions?
